Welcome to Maudern Living.  A place where I am thrilled to share interior design, home tours, style and lifestyle trends that both inspire and excite me. As an interior decorator, fashion and beauty enthusiast, I am constantly looking for approachable and affordable ways to add glamour, substance and simplicity to my life.  

Maudern Living, is an extension to my interior design business, Maude Interiors. Why all the Maude? It’s my middle name, yup. Crystal Maude Mountain – Foy. Growing up I thought Maude was a weird old lady name (It was after my great grand mother, Maude), but I’ve grown to love it. Not to mention I admire modern aesthetics, art and design - So it all seemed fitting.

This blog -  has been a long time coming. Between running a business, consulting with other designers and companies, birthing and raising two little boys, the blog has been on the back burner. Not to mention the fear of writing, creating content and putting myself out there, was almost sometimes too much to bare. But now, as I’m in my late (late)thirties, and no giva attitude that comes with age, I am ready to share all that I love and I hope my readers feel the same.  Now, I must apologize in advance for the grammatical errors and rants – I’m learning as I go, so please always reach out to let me how I can do better or what you want to see more of.
