Blush Crush
This Valentines day I am welcoming all things blush. This pretty hue looks good on every skin tone and can brighten up any room. For me, it’s a neutral that can be paired with any colour for a dramatic pop. Here are a few of my favourite blush inspired items for your home, closet and make up bag.
This flowy Free people midi dress is the perfect spring staple. Paired with neutral mules and gold hoops – boom – instantly chic!
Although this lipstick isn’t blush, it’s the perfect rich pink for Valentine’s day … and every day! I have been on the hunt for the perfect pink for months. And it wasn’t until I saw Shea of Studio Mcgee wore MAC in fanfare in her insta stories, that I discovered this peachy pink gem. I don’t typically buy from Mac, but I love this buildable pink lipstick. I have been wearing it everyday and adds some life to my casper skin.
With every new client project I work on, I am always suggesting wallpaper. It’s an easy and inexpensive way to add interest and texture to your home. I can't wait to use this anthropologie blush print behind a bed wall, girls or powder room. Paired with gold accents for a rich and luxurious look.
Tonic Living is every designer’s go to for beautiful fabric, pillows and accessories. Located in north Toronto, the inspiring showroom is filled the most swoon worthy items.
I stumbled upon this scent while browsing the cosmetics section at Urban Outfitters. As soon as I discovered it, I knew this was going to be my go to scent. I don’t usually wear perfume as most are too strong and I have never found a scent worthy of caking on my body. However, I really love Acai Baie - It's soft, subtle, inexpensive and smells of a fresh California breeze.
Anthropolgie's Crescent Hoops are a classic with a twist. Dress them up or down – jeans and a t-shirt, dress or jumper. A perfect compliment to any blush outfit - I'm ordering these now.
Sunday Market Wall Art – Brought to you from Texas Artist Hallie Brewer. This neutral motif is ideal for any bohemian or modern inspired home. It's bold enough to stand alone or paired with other pieces for a well designed gallery wall.
